    Haleigh Manhkong '09 is a TCA alumus and returned to teach third grade at TCA in 2019 after four years of teaching fourth grade in Richardson ISD. She earned both her BS in childhood education and her MA in teaching from the University of Arkansas. Mrs. Manhkong loves spending time with her husband, Wil, and their daughters, Raelynn and Prestyn.

    Jan Marshall joined the Trinity faculty in 1995. She holds a BME in voice and a MEd in elementary/early childhood. She is Texas certified in classroom instruction K-8, as well as music K-12. Mrs. Marshall has served in several teaching capacities at TCA beginning with elementary music, pre-first/Kindergarten, fourth grade and currently teaches seventh-grade History/English. She enjoys challenging her students to think beyond the obvious and consider the “why” questions in history and literature. Mrs. Marshall and her husband, Robert, have two sons who are graduates of TCA.

    Jessica McCauley serves as a Lower School teaching assistant and is privileged to have been a part of the third- and fourth-grade teams. She earned her BA and MS in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University. After graduation, she worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist for Our Children’s House at Baylor and followed her passion for serving children and their families to later work with Early Childhood Intervention. She has been married to Jeff for 20 years and has two boys, Aidan and Greyson, who both attend TCA. Jessica considers it a blessing every day to teach and be a part of a community where she gets to watch her boys grow in their education and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

    Courtland McMullen joined the TCA faculty in 2008 and currently teaches sixth-grade Bible and Latin and coaches MS cross country. He received his bachelor of arts in 2000 from Baylor University. He enjoys painting, playing golf and spending time with his wife Katrina, his sons Shepherd and Fisher, and friends.

    Katie Fornoff came to teach Upper School math at TCA in 2020. She graduated from Iowa State University in 2019 with her BS in mathematics. She stayed an additional year at Iowa State to attain her Masters of Education in secondary mathematics. She spent a couple years tutoring college math and was a supplemental Instruction teacher for college calculus before joining TCA’s Upper School Math department. Katie enjoys spending time with friends, exploring God’s creation, and reading books with a cup of coffee in hand!

    Stephen Megison joined TCA’s faculty in 2012 as a Middle School science teacher. He is currently the science department head and teaches sixth and eighth grade. In the past, Mr. Megison has led the Middle School rock climbing trip to Arkansas as well as the Upper School scuba diving and marine ecology trip to the Cayman Islands. He previously taught science in the Richardson school district. He and his wife, Jessica, both graduated from TCA in 2006, and he loves teaching at his alma mater. They have two sons, Bear and Beckett, who both attend TCA . Stephen enjoys spending time with his family, mountain climbing, scuba diving and skydiving.

    Steve Mercer came to TCA in August of 2004 as a sixth-grade science teacher and football coach for the Trojans varsity football team. He is now teaching physics, coaching football and serving as the summer school director. He came to Trinity after having taught in Plano ISD for seven years. He has also taught in the Putnam City School District in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Richardson, Texas ISD. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from Oklahoma City University and his master’s in educational administration from The University of North Texas.

    Greg Merrifield came to TCA in the fall of 1997 after graduating from Wheaton College with a BS in mathematics. He received his master’s degree from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2001. Mr. Merrifield has taught many of the US math courses including AB and BC calculus. He is also the faculty sponsor of the Reach Every Corner club at TCA which provides food and necessities for the homeless in the area. Mr. Merrifield enjoys spending time with his wife, Beth, and his two sons, Ethan '20 and Max.

    Jonathan Millet is a TCA lifer, meaning he is an alumnus of TCA who attended for all twelve years. He graduated in 1984 with classmate Jenni Green, who five years later became his wife. Their very first date was to TCA’s Senior Prom, so good things can indeed come from prom. Jon’s father Bill Millet served on TCA’s Board of Directors during the 70’s and 80’s establishing TCA’s Student Tuition Aide Program, which is named in honor of Jon’s mother Joyce who passed of cancer during his senior year. Jon and Jenni received their Bachelor of Arts degrees from Biola University in Los Angeles, California. Soon after. the couple moved to New York where he studied and received a MFA degree in printmaking from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. They have four children with their oldest son Max, also a TCA lifer, graduating in 2012. Jon is currently in his twenty-ninth year of teaching at TCA, making him the ultimate TCA lifer, he is also the visual arts department head. His students have consistently won many awards for their work, have been accepted into many prestigious art programs across the country, and are now actively working in art related professional fields. For the past fifteen years during the summers, he and Jenni have also guided TCA students on mission trips into Kenya and Tanzania Africa sharing the Gospel by helping the disabled, orphaned and impoverished. Jon also produces his own personal artwork. His work has been exhibited and recognized in numerous group and solo exhibitions in both Dallas and throughout the United States. His artwork is located in personal collections, private businesses and locally three of his artworks can be seen on permanent display in the downtown Omni Hotel in their restaurant Texas Spice.

    Upon graduating from Western Michigan University in 1980, Dan Mills accepted a teaching position at Parkhill Junior High in the Richardson ISD, remaining at that position for six years. After one year of teaching at Marcus High School in the Lewisville ISD, Mr. Mills returned to Parkhill Junior High where he remained for nine more years, serving as head of the Math Department the final five years. Mr. Mills joined the faculty at Trinity Christian Academy in 1996 and currently teaches seventh- and eighth-grade math. His current hobbies include rock climbing, fitness activities, backpacking and fly fishing.

    Ms. Dee Moore joined the faculty of TCA in 1997 as a member of TCA’s world languages department after years of substitute teaching Spanish at TCA. A former resident of the Rio Grande Valley, Ms. Moore graduated from Raymondville High School before attending Baylor University where she earned her undergraduate degree in Spanish, and she earned her double teaching certificate in English and Spanish from the University of Texas at Dallas. Ms. Moore has taught both Spanish 1 and 2 and has enjoyed tutoring several TCA students for all levels. All three of Ms. Moore’s children are graduates of TCA; Ryan Long ’98, Meredith Moore ’08 and Haley Moore Pendleton ’12. Ms. Moore is also a proud grandmother to Bentley Long ’28, Farrah Long ’30 and Channing Long ’32.

    Haley Moore is a 1997 alumna of TCA, who returned to TCA in 2002 as library assistant after completing a BA in “Plan II” and French from the University of Texas. In 2007, she earned her MS in library science and became the Upper School librarian. She completed her MA in French (literature specialization) from Middlebury College in 2013. She is a member of the Association of Independent School Librarians and served on the DFW conference host committee. Ms. Moore is involved with a number of book clubs, helps keep us up-to-date on MLA and even had a brief stint teaching French. She enjoys channeling her love of learning and desire to serve into her work with students, faculty and staff at TCA.

    Jennifer Moore is the educational technology specialist supporting lower school, middle school and athletics. Mrs. Moore received a dual BA in management information systems and international business from the University of Oklahoma. She worked as a system engineer and sales engineer for CompuCom and McAfee for 10 years until deciding to pursue her passion for teaching. Jennifer received her alternative teaching certification from Texas Teachers prior to coming to TCA in 2011, where she taught in the lower school technology lab for five years prior to moving to the technology department in 2016. Jennifer’s passion is helping others achieve success. She is the mother of three and wife to TCA coach Marcus Moore.
